Bangarra Dance Theatre
I’ve been lucky to work with diverse and engaging clients, though for me, the folio created for Bangarra Dance Theatre holds a special place. I worked as lead designer in a close creative partnership between MAXCO and Bangarra. The company is a rich, nourishing and genuine force in Australian Art and contemporary dance, and I learnt so much while working with them.
MAXCO oversaw the launch of their new website, 3 seasons of Production key art, annual reporting and regular promotional materials. We developed branding for their educational program Rekindling, and recently, their online educational resources platform, focussing on accessibility for urban and regional students.

Bangarra Website:
The site needed to reflect the elevation of Bangarra as one of Australia’s premiere performing arts companies. A responsive design enabled new promotional activities, publication of archival documents and educational resources, addressing a demand and facilitating a growing audience.

Branding & Other Collateral:
During the development of the website, MAXCO was commissioned to redesign Bangarra’s visual identity. The project was undertaken in close collaboration with the company's Artist’s-in-Residence, marketing team, and Artistic Director, Stephen Page.
Throughout the lifetime of the partnership, I was involved in the development of artwork and campaign materials for Terrain (2012), Blak (2013), Kinship (2013) and Patyegarang (2014). Promotional materials across digital and print media were produced, programs and an animated TVC for Blak.
