Tokyo! We spent most of our time in the city, walking around looking at the amazing shops, food, and street art. most of which comes from the US. Heaps of neckface, and a couple from B McGee and Shepard Fairly. Plus a ton from EKYS and SECT. I think they’re locals?
Twist was actually having a show at the Watarium.
We did a day trip to Mt Fuji. We ended up spending most of the day on a train — and then on a bus — and then we saw the bottom of the mountain for about 30 seconds until cloud swallowed the rest down like yesterday’s leftover sushi.
So we made our way down to lake Kawaguchico or something like that and just ate dark chocolate from some convenience store. We stumbled upon this really cool temple/graveyard, which was sort of like someones backyard. It was way more serene than the few that we dragged ourselves to in Kyoto.
After sitting around bored for a couple of hours we caught the bus back and it turns out that we were one stop away from one of the biggest roller coasters in the world. tear…
We did the Disneyland thing. Especially Emily, Mink and Mush… they really did the Disneyland thing.
We came back from our whirlwind trip outside of Tokyo, to go out on Saturday night. I bought a fish eye. I just held it in front of my $5 point and shoot thing.
We also went to karaoke dressed and fueled appropriately.
POO IN BED, P NORIAGER, J HOPPERS
I suppose that wraps it up for now. One day I will find out if my lomo shots are screwed.
